Hospital Bans Christmas Carolers From Singing Religious Songs.. Wussification continues!!

AUGUSTA, Ga. (CBS Atlanta) – An Augusta hospital has adopted a new policy banning Christmas carolers from singing religious songs in public patient areas.
The Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center announced the new policy Monday according to the Athens-Banner Herald.
“Military service veterans, male and female, represent people of all faiths,” hospital spokesman Brian Rothwell said in a statement according to Athens-Banner Herald. “It is out of respect for every faith that The Veterans Administration gives clear guidance on what ‘spiritual care’ is to be given and who is to give it.”

A group of high school students from Augusta’s Alleluia Community School were prevented from singing traditional holiday songs that honor and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ to veterans by the medical center last week.

Mom who baked cookies for school bus riders for 15 years shut down by complaint. Wussification of America

Once again, one liberal, wussified, spineless individual has stopped a nice thing being done out the kindness of a persons heart. This weak individual would not even leave their name!! What has happened to us?? Why are we so scared to offend one person and why must the overwhelming majority suffer!!!
From Fox:
A Chanhassen mother who has been baking cookies for the kids on her children's bus for 15 years has been shut down by an anonymous complaint.
Every Friday, Anne Tabat has met the school bus in her subdivision with a basket of cookies. It began as a thank you to the bus driver. And, Tabat said, she couldn't give the driver a cookie without giving one to every child on the bus.
Tabat said the cookies were also a way to get to know her neighbors.
"I didn't live in the suburbs until I turned 40," she said. "Look at the way these houses are designed here. They're not designed with a friendly neighborliness community in mind. I haven't been in most of the houses in my neighborhood. People live such busy lives; you don't talk to your neighbors, you don't know your neighbors."
For the first time in many years, Tabat won't be at the bus stop Friday. She received a phone call from the school this week telling her someone had complained and that she should cease and desist the dispensing of cookies. She said she never really had a straight answer about the specifics of the complaint.
"I think it's somebody who just didn't bother to get to know me and I think that's what the sin is here," Tabat told Minnesota Public Radio News.
Tabat has taken it in stride. She's busy making 200 cookies for her neighborhood party Saturday.
"People are good," Tabat said. "I've yet to find someone I can't find commonality with. We're all crawling around on the planet dealing with circumstances in our life, and most of us just want to raise a nice family and be successful in however you define success and for most people it's just surviving."

The Wussification of America

Our beliefs, our values and our history continues to be rewritten by the liberals. We are afraid to upset anyone! We continue to slide farther and farther away from what this country used to be!!! Time to stand up and speak out!!!!!

KINGS PARK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – The song “Silent Night” is at the heart of a concert controversy on Long Island.
Kings Park school officials removed several religious references, including “Holy infant” and “Christ the Savior,” from the popular Christmas carol before a student concert last week, WCBS 880′s Mike Xirinachs reported.
The intent was to avoid offending non-Christians, but the change left others upset.

Yes, Big Brother is listening!!! Verizon ordered to turn over records!!!

Once again, King Obama slaps America in the face. This man is hell bent on making America a socialist control state. And he could care less what the American People think of his actions! We are a country that forgets too quickly!! The scandals keep pilling up!!!! Time for Congress to act!!!!

The Obama administration has been collecting the phone records of millions of U.S. customers of Verizon under a top secret court order, according to a British newspaper report which raised new and troubling privacy questions.
A senior law enforcement official pushed back on the report early Thursday morning, telling Fox News that the Justice Department has not yet received a referral from the intelligence community, meaning "the process has not started yet."
But the administration has not denied the existence of the order. While the administration defended its authority to seize phone records -- and stressed that it does not monitor calls -- one civil liberties group called this the "broadest surveillance order to ever have been issued."

Memorial Day Thinking From The Liberal Left!!

Found this blog while surfing around and had to repost for my friends. Liberals wanting to change why we honor Memorial Day. Please log into her website and comment.

From Transition Times
by Jennifer Browdy de Hernandez

This Memorial Day, I want to honor my ancestors, at least as far back as my family memory goes.  On both sides of my family, my ancestors were hounded out of Europe by the dogs of anti-Semitism and greed.  Under great pressure, facing an uncertain future in a faraway land, in a time when leaving home very likely meant never again seeing or speaking with family and friends, they bravely gathered what they could carry and set off to try to establish a better future for their descendants.
They succeeded.  My family has prospered here in America.  On my father’s side, the three surviving children of my Russian immigrant great-grandparents became a doctor, a lawyer and (my grandmother) a teacher.  On my mother’s side, the German emigrants of the late 19th century became comfortable businessmen, doctors and dentists.
The Depression took its toll on my family, but by and large they did well, creating generations of hard-working, honest, loving people who entered energetically into building the American Dream.
Just because none of them died in war doesn’t mean we shouldn’t honor them on Memorial Day.  There are many forms of service to one’s country and one’s family.
This Memorial Day, I raise a toast to the departed, to peace, and to life!
